DESCRIPTION

This special session will cover latest development of biosensors for the detection of allergens, pathogens, pesticides, adulterants or other parameters/analytes with interest for food analysis. The sensors need to be able to provide results in situ either in food processing environment, or at final quality check points (retailers, control organisms, etc.). Topics covered could be based on electrochemical, optical or other detection principles, as long as they permit portability and ease of detection.
